Let's help each other stay healthy while we are staying home on Lock-down. It would be easy to order in or go pick up something but maybe we could use this time to get in some better habits - learn to fix simple, healthy meals and spend more time in prayer and devotion.. Check out the food page of our Healthy Temple site and look there for daily devotions and simple, yummy recipes!

Wesley Small Group (Watch for a zoom class during lock-down!)

Focus / Faith

This class has been going on for many years and is always open to new folks coming and joining in! The class agrees on each book. They read a chapter or so during the week and discuss on Sunday mornings at 9:45 in the pastor's office.

Disciple II Bible Study (Watch for a zoom class during lock down)

Faith

This is a weekly Bible study - an overview of Genesis, Exodus, Luke and Acts. Lots of great discussions and learning. Thursday 10 AM in the pastor's office.

Join the OMI Senior Center Line Dancing Class right here at Temple. Mondays 1-3 PM

Ballroom Dance Class (Watch for post lock-down start up date)

Join in with OMI Senior Center (You don't have to be a senior!) right here at Temple, Thursday afternoons 1-3 PM.

Always Active (Watch for post lock-down start up date)

Fitness

Join with the OMI senior center, Always Active class for a good one-hour workout. You don't have to be a senior and you can adjust for your ability. Bands and hand weights provided or bring your own! Tues, Wed., Fri 10:30-11:30 (Must obtain medical release - forms available at OMI Senior Center or Temple UMC church office)

If you're looking for a way to reduce stress, consider tai chi (TIE-CHEE). Originally developed for self-defense, tai chi has evolved into a graceful form of exercise that's now used for stress reduction and a variety of other health conditions. Often described as meditation in motion, tai chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements.

Tai chi is an ancient Chinese tradition that, today, is practiced as a graceful form of exercise. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing.

Class is Mondays 9:30 -10:30am
