Love the Lord, your God, with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind...Love your neighbor as yourself. ~Matthew 22:37,39
One day Jesus was walking down the street and a man came up and asked, "Lord, What is life all about?"
Jesus told him life is all about love. It is not about accomplishment. It's not about acquisition,. It's not about popularity, power or prestige. It's about love.nIt's about relationships. You can summarize all of life in two phrases: love God with all your heart, and love your neighbor as yourself. This is called the great commandment: make the connection with God, and make the connection with others. If you don't have those two loves, then you miss the purpose of life.
Sometimes we get wrapped up in the urgent things that have nothing to do with love. By contrast, our goal is to build lives on the foundation of love. As Mother Teresa said, "Do ordinary things with extraordinary love." How can you reach out in love today?
FOOD FOR THOUGHT
If you focus on love, you'll live a full life and influence others for Christ far beyond your expectations.
