Say to the Israelites, "I am the Lord, and I will bring you out
from under the yoke of the Egyptians."
~Exodus 6:6
God told Moses to confront the Egyptian Pharaoh and demand that he let the Israelites leave Egypt. Pharaoh responded by making the Israelites' forced labor even more difficult. Moses complained that God had made things worse for his people. God responded by promising he would free his people.
Sometimes God takes time to transform our lives. He doesn't do it all at once, because he wants us to persevere in trusting him. Sometimes things even look worse for a while before they get better. Then, when freedom finally comes, we are filled with gratitude and deeper trust instead of taking God's provisions for granted.
What are you trusting the Lord to do for you? When he seems to be taking too long, or even seems silent, don't give up. Keep crying out to him for help. He kept his promise to Moses, and he'll keep his promises to you.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT
Believe in God. Trust his timing, and be grateful for his deliverance when it comes. It will come.
